and performances by guest dance companies from

Frances Smith Cohen's Snow Queen
December 5th-20th, 2009
This magical
retelling of the Hans Christian Andersen classic
set to music by Sergei
Prokofiev has become a holiday favorite for the entire family.
The Arizona
Republic says: "Snow Queen is a civic treasure
(that)
belongs only to Phoenix
and can be seen nowhere else . . .
a jewel of theatrical flourish that can
inspire children for the rest of their lives."
Saturdays: Dec. 5, 12 and 19 at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.

Once again we join the annual celebration of National Poetry Month
with new choreography to
the words of America's great poets.
In the Herberger's Performance Outreach Theater (PORT)
All performances are at the
Herberger Theater Center,
222 E. Monroe St.
The first three shows are in Stage West.
The last, "American Voices," will be in backstage
in the Performance Outreach Theater.
